     Barry Wayne Oliver Barry W. Oliver, January 6, 1960 - September 15, 2023. Barry Wayne Oliver, 63, passed away peacefully at home September 15, 2023 with his family by his side. He was preceded in death by his parents Lacy B. and Dorothy W. Oliver. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Janet Oliver, a son Andrew Oliver, and daughter-in-law Megan Oliver. He also has one sister, Darlene Oliver. Barry was retired from Old Dominion Security where he had a career of over 40 years. Barry loved his family and friends and was always there for them. He also loved his Jackshound, Sadie, and his granddog Max, who were always there to make him smile. Barry took pride in his garage, yard and vehicles and always kept them clean and in order. He liked hunting, fishing, and racing of any kind. One of his favorite things to do was to watch races and westerns on Sunday afternoons in the garage with his buddies. The family would like to thank UVA Medical Center and the Gentiva Hospice for the care he was given by them.4 He was born on January 6, 1960 at Roanoke, Virginia.1,2,4,3 He married Mattie Sue Williams, daughter of Robert Eugene "Bobby" Williams and Joyce Ann Roop, on July 17, 1982 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.1 Barry Wayne Oliver and Mattie Sue Williams were divorced on April 19, 1985 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.2 Barry Wayne Oliver died on September 15, 2023 at Virginia at age 63.4
