Betty Jane Ciesiolka was buried at Riverview Cemetery, 2300 Portage Avenue, South Bend, St. Joseph Co., Indiana.2 She was born on March 31, 1932 at South Bend, St. Joseph Co., Indiana.2,3 As of February 21, 1981,her married name was Woolverton.4 She married Howard Edwin Woolverton, son of Orville Ellsworth Woolverton and Velvin Roselyn Bailey, on February 21, 1981 at Wailua, Kauai, Hawaii.1,4,3 Betty Jane Ciesiolka died on March 31, 2007 at South Bend, St. Joseph Co., Indiana, at age 75.2,3 She ELKHART -- Betty Jane Woolverton of Elkhart, IN, formerly of South Bend, passed away on March 31, 2007, on her 75th birthday with all her family near her side. Born March 31, 1932, in South Bend, Betty was the daughter of the late William and Hattie (Strzlecki) Ciesiolka. She married Robert Lichnerowicz, with whom she had five children. He preceded her in death. She later married Howard Woolverton. He lovingly helped care for her young children. He also preceded her in death. Left to cherish her memory are her five children, Cindy Boone, Bob Lichnerowicz Jr. and Pam (Ross) Jenkins, all of South Bend, Carl (Jason) Lichnerowicz of Sturgis and Gail (Steve) Miller of Mishawaka; seven grandchildren, Bonnie (Brad) Miller, Betsy (Jeff) Schweisberger, Jessica Howard, Carly, Eric, Adam and Ryan Miller; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Michael Ciesiolka, all of South Bend. Betty was a hard worker all of her life. Working many years on the assembly line at Uniroyal, she still found time to prepare home-made meals for her family. She was a great cook. She also enjoyed spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren. She and grandpa would take the grandkids in their RV to fun campgrounds like Indiana Beach and Magic Mountain. Betty also loved to play bingo, euchre, and Ship Cap&Crew. She will be missed dearly. A private memorial service will be held by the family. The McGann Hay, University Chapel, handled arrangements. on April 3, 2007.3

Kevin Eugene Woolverton was buried at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka, St. Joseph Co., Indiana.2,3 He was born on February 20, 1959 at South Bend, St. Joseph Co., Indiana.2,4,3 He died on August 17, 2008 at South Bend, St. Joseph Co., Indiana, at age 49.2,4,3 He MISHAWAKA - Kevin Eugene Woolverton, 49, passed away after a year-and-a-half battle with cancer on Sunday, August 17, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. Kevin was born on February 20, 1959, in South Bend, to Howard and Sandra (Barnard) Woolverton. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his son, Kristin Joseph (Danelle) Woolverton of St. Joseph, MI; a grandchild, Kennedy; his longtime girlfriend of 20 years, Trudy Armstrong of Mishawaka, her daughter, Holly; sisters, Sue (David) Stickler of Niles, MI, Lori (Bob) Liddell of Goshen and Gina (Van) McCray of Osceola; brothers, Gary Barnard of Mishawaka and Chris (Roseann) Woolverton of South Bend; his stepfather, Jack Day; half sisters, Tracy (Carl) Burch and Jean (Jeremy) Fritz, all of Winamac. Kevin worked at St. Joseph County Archives and Records Center as a warehouse coordinator. He had a generous and giving heart. His family and friends were the most important things in life to him, including his close friends, Jerry and Brent. He loved music, reading, fishing and playing pool. Kevin will be greatly missed, always remembered and forever loved. Kevin was a born-again Christian as in the Book of Lambs. Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, August 20, from 4 to 6 p.m. with funeral services at 6 p.m. in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Private burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Kevin's family, c/o Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, IN 46544. on August 19, 2008.3

Nowak, 73, of South Bend passed away at 3:40 p.m. Thursday, January 10 in his residence after an extended illness. Mr. Nowak was born on November 4, 1934, in South Bend and resided in the Michiana area his lifetime. He is survived by five daughters, Mary L. Tomaszewsk of Granger, IN, Victoria Wise and Barbara (Newell) Eddy both of Mishawaka, IN. Betty (Evon) Evonovich of South Bend, and Tina (Billy) Sherlock of Largo, Florida; and a son, John J. Nowak of Largo, Florida. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren whom he loved and cherished. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Nowak; and by a brother, Stanley M. Nowak in 1999. Mr. Nowak retired from Koontz-Wagner Electric after many years of service and then went to work for Goodwill Industries for nine years. He was a member of IBEW Local 1392. Frank loved to Polka, bowling, all sports, and the outdoors for picnics and family gatherings. He was loved dearly by his loving family and all who had the opportunity to meet Frank during his life journey. He wishes to be cremated and for his family and friends to remember the good life. The family requests that all memorial contributions be made to the family, in c/o; Mary L. Tomaszewski 12282 Ashland St. Granger, IN 46530. There will be no visitation hours or services, cremation has taken place and burial will be at a later date. on January 13, 2008.2
