Mr. Bailey was employed by Shrewsbury Machine and Casting for the past 20 years where he will be sadly missed. Kevin loved the outdoors and hunting, especially bow hunting. In 1992 he received an award for killing the 10th largest bear in the state of West Virginia for that year. He enjoyed restoring and painting late model Chevy trucks. He was of the Primitive Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Ida Mae Wood Bailey; and his maternal grandparents, John and Gertie Owens. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 21 years, Mary Catherine "Cathy" Harmon Bailey; two sons, Ricky Earl Bailey and Devin Charles Bailey; his daughter, Hannah Elysabeth Bailey, whom he adored; one sister, Beverly Quick and her husband Steve of Bent Mountain; one brother, Kenneth "Teddy" Bailey and his wife Linda of Bradenton, Fla; four nieces; two nephews; one great-niece; special cousin, Lisa Weikle Jones; and lifetime friend from childhood, Brian Simpkins. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. on December 22, 2004.³

Haun of Winter Haven, Fla; and sister, Teresa Haun-Battestin and husband Gary and sons, Tyler and Samuel of Orlando, Fla. Ms. Haun is also survived by a loving extended family consisting of her Aunt Rosetta and Uncle Wade Miles of Winter Haven, and their daughters, Pamela, Debbie and Elaine. Additional survivors include her stepbrother and his wife, Tracy and Mary Burks and their children and her stepsister and her husband, Rene and Gary Wingate and their children. Finally, Ms. Haun is survived by the father of her children, Charles Neely Sr. of Princeton and a special friend, Eddie Gray of Cedar Bluff, Va. Ms. Haun had recently become a member of the Church of Christ in Cedar Bluff where she played the piano and was involved in the music ministry. Ms. Haun graduated from Bluefield High School in 1973, and attended Virginia Interment College and moved to Winter Haven area in early 1980s. She worked for many years in the capacity of office manager for several automobile dealerships in the Winter Haven-Lakeland area until moving to Tampa in the late 1990s. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eddie Jeffcoat, her best friend, Susan York, both formerly of Tampa, Fla. Ms. Haun recently relocated to West Virginia to be with family. She will be missed by all who had the fortune of knowing her. Interment will be at a later date in the Ida Cemetery in Bentree. on May 27, 2004.²

Manning, on December 10, 1945 at Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia.^1,2,4,3 Flora Madeline Whited died on October 8, 1991 at Farmville, Prince Edward Co., Virginia, at age 70.^2,3 She Flora Madeline (Flo) Elmore, 70, of Farmville, formerly of Fayetteville, N.C., and Princeton, died Tuesday in a Farmville nursing home. Born in Red Ash, Va., she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Lydia Lankford Whited. She was a retired cook at the Princeton Moose Lodge and a member of the Johnston Chapel Baptist Church in Princeton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Eugene Elmore; two brothers, two sisters and one grandchild. Survivors: son, Stephen (Steve) Elmore of Farmville; daughters, Thuresa Gay Johnston and Lydia (Queenie) Caldwell, both of Farmville and Patricia Ann (Patty) Shreve of Fayetteville; brother, George Whited of Princeton; sisters, Naomi Hunter of Princeton, Kathryn Lamb of Tampa, Fla., and Billie Elmore of Nevada; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. on October 10, 1991.³

     Stephen Lee (Steve) Elmore was buried at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Courthouse Road, Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia.^3,4 He Stephen Lee Elmore, of Princeton went to his Heavenly home on Sunday evening, May 28, 2017. Born October 17, 1946 in Princeton, he was the son of the late Howard and Madeline “Flo” Whited Elmore. Stephen previously worked at the Radford Arsenal and was a diesel mechanic for the WV Dept. of Highways and retired from English Construction. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his one sister, Lydia Ethel “Queenie” Franklin, Brother in law, Bobby Dale Shreve, a step son Marvin Munoz and the Mother of his children, Jessie Linkous. Survivors include his wife, Linda Jean Bailey Elmore; Children, Diana Cook and husband Dwayne of Concord, VA, Teresa Shawn Elmore and Bridget Holdren and husband David both of Princeton and Heather Munoz of Pipestem; Grandchildren, Alexander McConnell, Catelynn and Jessica Holdren, Joseph Holdren and wife Sarah, Bode Munoz, Elizabeth and Brady Boler; Two sisters, Thuresa Johnston and husband Robert and Patty Shreve both of Prospect, VA; Sisters-in-law, Brenda Taylor and Brenda Smith both of Princeton. Born in Princeton, WV, December 14, 1970, she was a daughter of the late Stephen Lee Elmore, Jessie Pritchett and her stepfather, Roy Linkous. Diana was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She was a secretary for Johnston Enterprises in Prospect. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sisters, Bridget Holdren and husband, David and Shawn Elmore all of Princeton, WV; one nephew, Alex McConnell; two nieces, Jessica Holdren and Catelynn Holdren; four aunts, Brenda Smith of Princeton, WV, Donna Shuler and husband, Jr., of Pliny, WV, Gay Johnston and husband, Robert and Patty Shreve both of Prospect. She was preceded in death by an aunt, Lydia Caldwell. Scottsmoor, Fla. - Arminta Louise Belcher Elmore, 81, formerly of Bland, Virginia died Monday, December 19, 2005 at Parish Medical Center. She is the daughter of the late Otis Jesse Belcher and Beulah Mae Winfrey Belcher. She was a retired caregiver and last attended Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church in Princeton, West Virginia. She had been a resident of Scottsmoor for two years, moving there from Bland, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Jackson Elmore; and a grandson, David Norton Lewis, Jr. Survivors, two daughters, Connie Sue Lewis (husband David) and Barbara Gail Bird (husband Lee); two sons, Donald Lee Elmore (wife Brenda) and Sam Robert Elmore (companion Deborah Haynes); four grandchildren, Jeri Lynn Mullins (husband Michael), Sarah Bird Woodring, Samatha Bird and Morgan Elmore; two brothers, Clarence Belcher (wife Helen) and Eugene Belcher (wife Jean); a sister, Glenna Brown; and one great-grandson, Edward Thomas Woodring.
