     David Scott King David Scott King, May 10, 1974 - Jul 9, 2018. David Scott King, 44, of Salem, passed away Monday, July 9, 2018. He was born in Salem, the son of Junior King and Belinda Pendleton, and had been an area resident all of his life. David was a positive, upbeat and kind soul who enjoyed playing jokes on his friends, going to the river, working on his jeeps and motorcycles, listening to music and dancing with his wife, and spending time with his family. He was employed at Wholesome Harvest Bakery. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Nikki Olinger King; two daughters, Sierra King and Laci Hamblin; three sons, Tyler Hamblin, Skeet Collins and D.J. King; granddaughters, Jayden and Olivia, and a sister, Tina Carroll and her husband Rev. Ted Carroll.² He married Nikki Lynn Olinger.² David Scott King was born on May 10, 1974 at Roanoke, Virginia.^2,3,4 He married Susan Lynn Ray on December 5, 1992 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.⁴ David Scott King and Susan Lynn Ray were divorced on August 1, 2002 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.⁵ David Scott King died on July 9, 2018 at Virginia at age 44.²

     David Wayne Kinder David Wayne Kinder, Nov 6, 1974 - Jan 27, 2015. David Wayne Kinder, 40, of Bluefield, WV, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Princeton Community Hospital. He was the son of Janie Wright Bourne of Bluefield, WV and Bobby Kinder of Bluefield, VA. He was a driver for PTI in Bluefield, a member of Deliverance Temple, a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan and loved watching Nascar racing. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents: Junior and Elizabeth Kinder and maternal grandparents: Ed and Dorothy Wright; uncles: Billy Kinder and Jackie Kinder; aunt: Gail Johnson; Those left to cherish his memory are his mother: Janie Wright Bourne and step-father Jim Bourne of Bluefield, WV; father: Bobby Kinder of Bluefield, VA; sister: Cindy Parker of Tazewell, VA; step-sister: Kathy Rider and husband Jay of Bluefield, VA: and several nephews, nieces and cousins.¹ He was born on November 6, 1974.¹ He died on January 27, 2015 at Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia, at age 40.¹

     Delores Diane Freeman Mrs. Delores Diane Freeman Beeson, 55, of 1441 South Avenue in Eden, passed away on Wednesday evening, Nov. 24, 2010 at her home. Interment will follow in Lawson Cemetery. Mrs. Beeson was born in Leaksville on Oct. 10, 1955, a daughter of Rupert and Mary Poff Freeman, both deceased. She worked with Unifi. She was a member of Fieldcrest Church of God and enjoyed traveling. She is survived by her husband, Robert Beeson of the home; her step children, Michelle Johnson, Tommy Beeson and Jessica Downey, all of High Point; her brother, Charles Freeman of Eden; her nine grandchildren; her niece, Melissa Roberts; her nephew, Charles Freeman, Jr; and her loving pet, Cecil.² She was buried at Lawson Cemetery, Eden, Rockingham Co., North Carolina.^2,3 Her married name was Beeson.² She married Robert Miller Beeson.^2,4 Delores Diane Freeman was born on October 10, 1955 at Leaksville, Rockingham Co., North Carolina.^3,2 She died on November 24, 2010 at Eden, Rockingham Co., North Carolina, at age 55.^2,3

     Charles Franklin Freeman Sr. was buried at Lawson Cemetery, Eden, Rockingham Co., North Carolina.³ He Charles Franklin Freeman, Sr. age 65 of Virginia Street, Eden, NC, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at his home. Burial will follow at Lawson Cemetery. Charles was born December 17, 1957 to the late Rupert and Mary Poff Freeman. He served in the N.C. Army National Guard. Charles worked for Spray Cotton Mills and Wysong and later TYCO. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and football, working on cars, going camping and drinking coffee, but he loved his family and grandchildren the most. Surviving are his son, Charles F. “Chuck” Freeman, Jr; daughter, Melissa Roberts and husband David; grandchildren, Rydia Antu and Trinity Roberts; mother of his children, Billie Jean Freeman; brother-in-laws, Ricky Prillman and Jerry Prillman; mother-in-law, Alma Jean Prillman and father-in-law, James “Billy” Prillman.³ He and Billie Jean Prillaman were divorced.³ Charles Franklin Freeman Sr. was born on December 17, 1957.³ He married Billie Jean Prillaman on January 14, 1977 at Eden, Rockingham Co., North Carolina.⁴ Charles Franklin Freeman Sr. died on November 26, 2023 at Eden, Rockingham Co., North Carolina, at age 65.³

     Robert Miller Beeson Robert Miller Beeson, 72, of Eden passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park. Robert was born in Virginia Beach, VA on December 15, 1952, a son of Clarence Miller and Evelyn Griffin Miller. After their passing, he was adopted by Tommy and Maggie Beeson, who are also deceased. He was a retired store manager with Harris Teeter. He enjoyed playing piano and singing. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his previous wife, Delores Freeman Beeson; his daughters, Rebecca Ann Guthrie and Michelle Lynn Johnson; his half siblings, Elizabeth Marshall and David Beeson; his eight biological siblings; and three grandchildren. Robert is survived by his wife, Kimberly Swaney Beeson of the home; his children, Tommy Beeson (Kendra) of High Point, Jessica Hagerman (Pershing) of Eden; his brother, Ellis Wimmer (Maria) of Roanoke, VA; his nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.³ He was buried at Lakeview Memorial Park, Greensboro, Guilford Co., North Carolina.³ He married Delores Diane Freeman, daughter of Rupert Alphus Freeman and Mary Magalene Ruth Poff.^2,3 Robert Miller Beeson was born on December 15, 1952 at Virginia Beach, Virginia.³ He died on October 28, 2025 at Reidsville, Rockingham Co., North Carolina, at age 72.³

     Bertha Gwynn Massey was buried at Old Hollow Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Mount Airy, Surry Co., North Carolina.¹ She was born on April 16, 1932 at Caswell Co., North Carolina.^1,2 As of March 9, 1956,her married name was Poff.³ She married Clyde Albert Poff, son of Rev. Benjamin Franklin Poff and Eliza Jane Duncan, on March 9, 1956 at Greensboro, Guilford Co., North Carolina.^1,3 Bertha Gwynn Massey died on January 12, 1972 at Mount Airy, Surry Co., North Carolina, at age 39.¹

     Daniel Scott Kirkman was born on May 14, 1972 at Daviess Co., Kentucky.^1,2,3 He married April Dawn Simpkins, daughter of Douglas William Simpkins and Martha Ann Dean, on July 10, 1993 at Chesapeake, Virginia.¹ Daniel Scott Kirkman and April Dawn Simpkins were divorced on January 23, 1996 at Portsmouth, Virginia.³ Daniel Scott Kirkman died on September 28, 2020 at Owensboro, Daviess Co., Kentucky, at age 48.² He Daniel Scott Kirkman, 48, of Owensboro, died on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2020, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Scott was born in Daviess County on May 14, 1972, to the late B. Daniel and Gladys Lee Anderson Kirkman. He was a Star Wars fanatic, loved to play Xbox and watch the UK Wildcats and the Dallas Cowboys. Scott is survived by his wife, Jennifer Nugent Kirkman; five children, Kaitlyn, Jacob, Noah, Madison and Tristan Kirkman; his siblings, Danielle (Jeff) Bartlett and Jereme Kirkman; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. on October 2, 2020.²
