She was employed by Montgomery County School system for over 20 years and at Camp Alta Mons for 25 years. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 30, 2012, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 31, 2012, at Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dan Carawan officiating. Interment will follow at Piedmont Cemetery, Shawsville. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Richfield, Third Floor East for their many years of care and dedication. on August 30, 2012.2

Over her lifetime Mrs. Graham lived in Roanoke and Lynchburg, Virginia, and in Asheville and Charlotte, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Everette and Margaret Chatham Elmore in Roanoke, Virginia, and the sister of Mary, Juanita, Everette and Walter. She was employed by Park Street Pharmacy and Woolworth's Department Store in Roanoke, and later by Mercy Hospital in Charlotte as a switchboard operator. She had a great love of flowers, with a special green thumb touch, and a fondness of animals. Mrs. Graham was the loving mother of her daughter, Sue Graham Bell, of Charlotte, NC, and of her son, Eugene Graham, Jr. of Asheville, NC. She leaves four grandchildren, Eddie, Stephen, Rebecca and Jennifer, along with nine great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kathryn, Andrew, Christian, Addison, Mason, Harrison, Matthew and Rachael. Interment will be held at Fort Hill Memorial Park, Lynchburg, Virginia, where she will rest alongside her husband, Eugene Graham, Sr. on July 6, 2003.6
