Alma Elizabeth Blankenship was born on April 15, 1946 at Giles Co., Virginia.³ She died on November 9, 2017 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 71.³ She Alma Elizabeth Blankenship Whitaker, age 71, of Pearisburg, VA, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia. Born in Giles County, April 15, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Vernon and Elsie Holdren Blankenship. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Raynor Whitaker. She is survived by a daughter Chonita Whitaker Williams and her husband Pastor Chuck Williams of Lynchburg; a son Andrew Whitaker of Pearisburg; a step-daughter Vanessa Whitaker Williams and her husband Chuck Williams of Narrows; a step-son Joey Whitaker of Pearisburg; and four grandchildren Jacob Williams and wife Caprice Caleb Williams and wife Heather and Carson and Colton Williams. She is also survived by a sister Mildred French of Christiansburg, a sister Linda Stephens of Pearisburg, a brother Daniel Blankenship and his wife Becky of Pearisburg and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will take place on Tuesday at 2:00 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St., Pembroke, Virginia. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. on November 11, 2017.³

     Anna Budnitzky was buried at Beth David Cemetery, Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan.² She was born on October 8, 1858 at Poltava, Ukraine.^1,2 She married Louis Knoppow, son of Yitzchak Knoppow and Hannah Unknown, circa 1875 at Russia.^3,1 As of circa 1875,her married name was Knoppow. Anna Budnitzky died on March 8, 1912 at Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan, at age 53.^1,2

     Fannie Knoppow was born in 1876 at Poltava, Ukraine.¹ As of October 1, 1896,her married name was Levin.² She married Marcus Martin Levin on October 1, 1896 at Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan.^1,2 Fannie Knoppow died on August 15, 1936 at Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan.¹

     Herman Knoppow was buried at Machpelah Cemetery, 21707 Woodward Avenue, Ferndale, Oakland Co., Michigan.³ He was born on February 15, 1878 at Poltava, Ukraine.¹ He married Lillian Abrahamson in 1899 at Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan.⁴ Herman Knoppow died on January 1, 1951 at Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan, at age 72.³
