She was a member of Eastside Church of Christ and the Graham Art Guild. She was preceded in death by one brother, Darwin “Snook” Coop. Survivors include one son, David Burgess of Graham; a daughter, Norma Durham and husband Don of Tyler; a sister-in-law, Frances Coop of Newcastle; four grandchildren, Tammy Hughes, Shane Durham, Robbie Denise Cartwright and David Max Burgess Jr; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Memorials may be made to the Eastside Church of Christ, 705 Indiana St., Graham, Texas 76450. on March 10, 2010.²
