He was married to Miss Emma Frances Newnam, daughter of Elias T. and Mary Smallwood Newnam, February 28, 1883. He was a member of the Heidelberg Baptist church. He is survived by his widow, four daughters and one son, Mrs. Mattie Brandenburgh, Jeffersontown, Ky; Mrs. Rosa Treadway, Hamilton, Ohio; Mrs. Eunice Webster, Covington; Mrs. Edna Sparks, Hazard; and Robert Jones, Hamilton, Ohio. He is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Breck Smith, Congleton. on September 19, 1935.5

Mrs. Treadway retired from Pillsbury in 1955 and was employed by the company for many years starting with Duff Mix. Volunteer Worker She was a devoted mother and was a member of the Senior Citizens, Gold Star Mothers and did volunteer work with the Salvation Army. She leaves two sons, William Fillmore Treadway, Hamilton, and George McDonald Treadway, Gladstone, Ore; three daughter, Mrs. E. L. (Lillian Ruth) Hiltenberger, Cape Coral, Fla., Mrs. Guy (Mary Frances) Randall Jr., Hamilton, and Mrs. Pauline Elizabeth Connell, Washington, D.C; a brother, Robert L. Jones, Hamilton; two sisters, Mrs. Eunice Webster, Covington, Ky., and Mrs. Mattie Brandenburg, Louisville Ky; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Chief Aviation Machinist Mate Luther Charles Treadway, in 1957. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. on May 15, 1971.2
