He was born in Crystal, West Virginia, on August 16, 1926 and moved to this area from Edgewood, Maryland 35 years ago. He worked for NASA as an Electrical Instrument Maker, and also pastored many churches. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at 1 .p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tony Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
