A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, 2000, in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. on February 2, 2000.1

Ray Ernest Furrow, son of Rev. Jessie Louis Furrow and Stella Irene Wiggins, on September 15, 1951 at Gary, McDowell Co., West Virginia.1,3,4 Norma June Miller died on January 20, 2011 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia, at age 78.1,5 She Norma June Furrow, 78, of Lerona, W.Va., died Thursday evening, January 20, 2011, at the Richfield Retirement Facility, Salem, Va. Born November 16, 1932, in Wyoming County, she was the daughter of the late Arbra C. Miller and Ocie Green Miller. Norma was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. While her health permitted, she attended New Convenant Pentecostal Holiness Church on Highland Avenue in Princeton. Also she, along with her late husband, helped to establish several churches in our region. Norma was a gifted and talented musician. She enjoyed sewing and, most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the Reverend Ray E. Furrow; and a sister, Esther Miller. Survivors include two sons and their spouses, Randall E. and Meredith P. Furrow, Greg R. and Betty Furrow; grandchildren, Sarah Elisabeth Furrow, Jonathan R. Furrow, Amanda Kristin Furrow, David Jessie Furrow; her sister, Marilyn Bartley and husband, Franklin D., of Daleville, Va. A service of celebration will be held 1 p.m. Monday, January 24, 2011, from the New Convenant Pentecostal Holiness Church on Highland Avenue in Princeton with Pastors Paul Furrow and Ron Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family Sunday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to services at the church. Family and friends may share online condolences via www.memorialfd.com. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends. The Furrow Family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory & Cremation Center on Athens Road in Princeton.
