     Donna Faye Compton Donna Faye Compton Sturgill 59 of Coal City, formerly of Wyoming County, went home to be with her Savior, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday August 15, 2018 following a courageous battle with cancer. Born May 16, 1959 in Mullens, she was the daughter of the late James Edward and Esteleen Akers Compton. Faye was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family, and cherished the times that she spent with them. Faye worked as a cook at many local restaurants, throughout our region. She was a born again Christian and loved the Lord with all of her heart. She spent years singing and playing her guitar for many churches. Faye loved sharing the gift that God had given to her, by ministering to people through song. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her three sisters Fayetta Compton, Judy Cook and Vicky Lambert. 5 brothers, her twin brother Donald Ray Compton, Luke Compton, Carl Compton, Mark Compton, and Hershell Compton. Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband Harold Sturgill, her 5 children Phillip Kirbway, Nashayla Wilkerson, Donna Smith, Mark Sturgill, and Josh Sturgill. 7 grandchildren: Breyanna Wilkerson, Jasmine Wilkerson, Megan Smith, Hunter Smith, McKenzie Sturgill, Makyleigh Sturgill, and Finley Sturgill. 7 borthers and sisters: Glenda Compton Yeo, Lou Baker, Patricia Ramsey, Rosemary Haynes, Dean Compton, Lee Compton, and David Compton, and a host of nieces, nephews, and countless friends.2 She was born on May 16, 1959 at Mullens, Wyoming Co., West Virginia.1,2 As of August 29, 1975,her married name was Kerbawy.1 She married Randall Kevin Kerbawy, son of Albert Kerbawy Jr. and Phyllis Dalene Vest, on August 29, 1975 at Grundy, Buchanan Co., Virginia.1 Donna Faye Compton died on August 15, 2018 at West Virginia at age 59.2
