Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 2 at the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory in Princeton, W.Va. Pastor Larry Dyer will officiate. The boy was struck on the Beckley road one mile and a half from Princeton Wedensday morning...The Conner lad was born at McComas, September 9, 1940, and his parents moved to Black Oak mountain section two years ago. The boy is survived by his parents and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. J. E Williams, Niceville, Fla; Garwood, Hazel, Roy, Jean, Randolph and Donald, all at home. Wall waived preliminary hearing on a charge of manslaughter before Magistrate E. Dale Bailey yesterday afternoon and posted $600 bond to await action of the April grand jury. Corporal M. C. Yoak who investigated the accident filed the charges. on January 17, 1947.⁷
