Link of Newport; two daughters, Betty Pangborn of Pearisburg and Judy Breen of Newport; four grandchildren, Noah A. "Bud" Slaughter of Pearisburg, Victor H. Link of Newport, Billy Breen of Newport and Angie and husband Sherman Harvey of Newport; a great-granddaughter, Kayla Harvey of Newport; and special caregivers, Eva Price and Doris Link of Newport. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel in Pembroke, with burial following in Clover Hollow Cemetery at Newport. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Newport Rescue Squad. on January 29, 1999.1

Service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Andrews United Methodist Church with the Rev. Paul Smith officiating. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Bartlett Funeral Home, St. Albans and one hour prior to service at the church.
