Campbell was buried at Britts Family Cemetery, Craig Co., Virginia.¹ She was born in October, 1831 at Virginia; Her obituary list her as bing 65 years of age which would make her birth date around 1838.² She married Samuel Frantz Britts, son of Henry Britts and Mary Catherine Frantz, on September 7, 1856 at Craig Co., Virginia.³ As of September 7, 1856,her married name was Britts. Mary E. Campbell died in January, 1903 at Craig Co., Virginia, at age 71.¹

     Daniel O./A. Conner Served in Company B, 42nd Virginia Infantry, Confederate States Army, during the Civil War. He was born circa 1840 at Floyd Co., Virginia.¹ He died in March, 1863 at Caroline Co., Virginia; He was wounded and died at the Caroline Court House.³

     Nathanial "Nathan" F./T. Conner was born circa 1843 at Floyd Co., Virginia.^2,3 He began military service on May 25, 1861 at Floyd Co., Virginia, Enlisted as a Private at the age of 18 in Company B, 42nd Infantry Regiment Virginia.³ He died on September 21, 1864 at Elmira, Chemung Co., New York; Died of disease as a POW Company B, 42nd Infantry Regiment Virginia.³

     Miranda B. "Manda" Conner Funeral services for Mrs. Miranda B. Vest were held Friday morning at the Eliasville Baptist church. Rev. R.C. King and Rev. C.E. Wade of Graham conducted the service following which interment was made in the Donnell cemetery. Mrs. Vest, 89, died Thursday, Nov. 24 as the result of burns.⁷ She was buried at Donnell Cemetery, Eliasville, Young Co., Texas.^3,7 She was born on March 1, 1842 at Floyd Co., Virginia.^4,1,3 She married James M. "Manda" Conner died on November 24, 1932 at Graham, Young Co., Texas, at age 90.³

Craighead Conner; three sons, Garney Conner, Roanoke County, Garland Conner, Shawsville, Namon Conner, Fredericksburg; four daughters, Mrs. Icy Reynolds, Mrs. Roosevelt Thompson, Mrs. Thomas Chocolate, Mrs. Raymond Clingenpeel, Roanoke. The funeral was Saturday at Lotz Funeral Chapel, Salem with burial in Craighead Cemetery, Floyd County. on March 28, 1968.²

He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Ester Pierpont; a granddaughter, Sandy Pierpont, both of Fredericksburg; three sisters, Velma Thompson of Salem; Thelma Clingenpeel and Alma Chocklett, both of Roanoke; a host of nieces and nephews. Services will be from Oakey's South Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. John Ingram will officiate. Interment will follow at the Conner Family Cemetery, Bottom Creek on January 23, 1992.⁷
