She was the beloved wife of the late, Ezra C. Thomas. She was born March 4, 1911 in Gatewood, W.Va. Mrs. Thomas was predeceased by one son, Calvin F. Thomas, sisters, Stella Dove, Roxie Jones, Edith Argabright and Elsie Akers and brother, Lynn McNeil. She is survived by a daughter, Loretta Eisenbeiss of Hyattsville, Md; sons, Jabe Thomas and wife, Betty of Christiansburg, Va., Arcel Thomas, now of the home; precious grandchildren, Ronnie Thomas, Keith Thomas, Dawn and Gary Eisenbeiss; beloved sisters, Velvie Williams, Roenie Alderman; and brother, James McNeil. Special thank you to her daughter-in-law, Betty who helped to care for her during her illness. Friends may call after 2 p.m. on Friday, September 29, 2000 at the Shawsville Congregational Holiness Church on Alleghany Springs Road. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the church on Saturday, September 30, 2000 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Richard Kingrea and Rev. Johnny Smith officiating. Guest speaker will be Rev. Wesley K. Russ of Maranatha Fellowship in College Park, Maryland. Interment to follow in Den Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Grant E. She is also survived by one brother, James McNeil of Floyd; brother and sisters-in-law, Albert and Roxie Williams and Margaret Williams. Interment will follow in Congregational Holiness Cemetery in Shawsville. The family would like to express their appreciation to the New River Valley Medical Center for the care given Mrs. Graham and also to the many kind prayers, thoughts and concerns given during her illness. on May 31, 2001.2

Edna was preceded in death by her husband, James; five brothers and three sisters. Edna was born the daughter of William and Bertha Epperly Howard on Feb. 28, 1926. She married James Eli Ellickson on Jan. 5, 1946. He died in 1982. Edna retired in 1985 from Rockwell Collins, where she had been employed for 27 years. She was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. on August 17, 2014.7

Kenneth proudly served his country in the Army before retiring from Continental Telephone Co. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was also an active member of the River of Life Church where he sang under the direction of close friend and pastor, Sarah E. Smith. Kenneth is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sylvia Howard of Stafford County; daughter Rebecca Compton and husband Gary of Fredericksburg; daughter Lisa Denault and husband Bruce of Stafford; daughter Jessica Kennedy and fiancé Jobe Kemp of Stafford; sister Lula Hash of Charlotte, N.C; and former son-in-law and fishing partner Robert Kennedy. He was the proud grandfather of Gary Compton Jr., Stephanie Cox, Heather Ausbrooks, Keirsten and Nicholas Kennedy, Alexander, Matthew and Arianna Kemp, Tonya and Michael Denault, and Danielle Shartzer; and three great-grandchildren, Logan Denault, and Evelyn and Madeline Vioral. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends. Pallbearers will be Jobe Kemp, Robert Kennedy, Gary Compton Jr., Charlie Cox, Ronald Fox and Michelle White. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Compton, Gary Cox, Bruce Denault, Wayne Grimmet, Gary Johnson, Randy Fox and Michael Grimmett. Friends and family may visit from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 10, at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Home, Stafford. Friends and family may also visit from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, at Ronald Meadows Funeral Home in Hinton, W.Va. The funeral service will be held at Ronald Meadows Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13. Burial will follow in Valley View Memorial Park at Palace Creek, Hinton. on January 9, 2010.2
