He is also survived by his fourteen great-grandchildren. Mr. Hamil was a member of the Blacksburg United Methodist Church. He moved to the Blacksburg area about six years ago when he retired in Knoxville, Tennessee. The memorial service will be held at Blacksburg United Methodist Church at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2002. A graveside service will follow with only family attending. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations are made to the Interfaith Food Pantry in Blacksburg, Va. instead. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg. A special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Heritage Hall Nursing Home and Lewis Gale-Montgomery Regional Hospital. on October 7, 2011.5

Hope Peritz of Charlottesville, Va. and Leslie McGlothlin of Tallahassee, Fla; a sister, Isabelle Schaake of Lawrence, KS and seven great-grandsons. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Christiansburg, Va. on Tuesday, January 22, 2002 at 11 a.m. conducted by the Rev. Doug Kanney and the Rev. Chuck McHose. Interment will be private. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 220 West Main Street, Christiansburg, Va. 24073. Arrangements are being handled by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg, Va. on January 18, 2002.3

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Pearl Bandy Hylton; husband, Jack Jones; and sisters, Dorothy Carr and Marie Ballou. Mildred is survived by her children, Debra Coleman and significant other, Tom Williams of Christiansburg, and Randy Jones and significant other, Lorri Atwell of Max Meadows; step-grandchild, Alex Church; brothers, Junior Hylton and wife Mary, and Earl Hylton; nieces and nephews, Jerry Carr, Kim Long, Monica Hylton, Evans Hylton, and Becky Ballou; several great-nieces and great-nephews; along with her church family. Mildred was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She loved animals and will be missed by her cats, Molly and Sam. The family would like to thank Dr. Harry McCoy and the staff of Blue Ridge Cancer Care, Carilion New River Valley Medical Center and Hospice Care, and Dr. John Leslie. Sussie was a loving wife and a wonderful godmother to Bubbie and Trenton Ramirez. Interment will follow at Huffville Cemetery in Floyd County, Va. on August 13, 2015.3
