Pauline was a retired real estate sales lady and was preceded in death by her parents, Nash Johnson and Nellie Milton Owen; her brothers, Earl Johnson Owen, Thomason Jessie Owen; her stepson, Randy Davis; and her husband, Robert (Bob) L. Conner. Surviving is her stepson, Robin Jerry Anderson; her stepgrandchildren, Jerry Lee Anderson, Ricky Davis, Jr; her brother, Maynard R. Owen and wife, Dorothy, of Roanoke County; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at Oakey's Vinton Chapel, Tuesday, October 11, 4 p.m. with Pastor Eric Spano officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Building Fund in her memory. The family will receive friends Tuesday one hour prior to the funeral service at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.

He is survived by his daughter, Marie and David Paulley; son, Donnie Eanes and girlfriend Deanna Maxey; his grandchildren, David Brown, Brittany, Dillion, Dakota, Danica, Dalelena, Dalton and Dawson Eanes. Also, left to cherish his memory are his sister, Lois Bean; brother, Kyle and Brenda Eanes, Mike Eanes, Freddie and Teresa Eanes and numerous nieces and nephews. Also, the family would like to say a special thank you to his beloved friends, Pam and Charlie Price and Johnny and Rita Harrah for their lifetime of friendship. Charles Eugene "Charlie" Spencer died on January 11, 2022 at Virginia at age 82.4 He Charlie Eugene Spencer, August 8, 1939 - January 11, 2022. Charlie E. Spencer, of Pilot, was born on August 8, 1939, to Charles and Clara Coleman Spencer. Left this earthy life to his heavenly home to meet his precious Tenny (Christine Eanes married November 26, 1960) on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at the age 82. He was retired by Montgomery Furniture. After retiring he joined his son Ronald, working in Spencer's Chimney Sweep, driving for Montgomery County School System and his greatest love of farming. His greatest loves was to testify to everyone about his Lord Jesus Christ and all he had done for him in his life and The Message of the Hour. Then to tell everyone about the Love of his family. Max was a veteran of the United States Navy and served in the Korean War. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Sweeney; sons, David, Randy and Darrell Sweeney; grandchildren, Mikayla Sweeney, Rhiannon Leebrick, Sarah Newton, Aaron Sweeney and Liam Sweeney; great grandchildren, Maebel Johnson and Wyatt Newton; sisters, Daphine Sowers and Cindy Eanes; brothers, Bruce, Barry and Doug Sweeney. Max had countless friends and loved ones in the local music community. The family would like to thank the doctors and all the staff at Springtree Health and Rehab Center for their excellent care. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday July 6, 2014, at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Doug Sweeney officiating. Interment will follow at Jacksonville Cemetery with Military Rites by Floyd V.F.W. Post #7854 and American Legion Post #127. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. prior to the service. on July 5, 2014.2

Sowers, 90, of Floyd, passed away on February 15, 2021. She served others with a passion as a nurse in numerous nursing facilities for her whole adult life.
