In 1933, he was married to Florence Scrider, who died in 1939. He was a member of the Presbyterian church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. James K. Parks, Homer; four grandchildren and a nephew. One brother, Frank, and a sister, Jennie, are deceased. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Miller-Lee funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Rodger B. Sillars. Interment will be made in Oakdale Cemetery in charge of William D. Lee, funeral director of Marysville. Friends may call at the funeral home. on May 10, 1948.⁶
