Among the papers of Veda Bly (Conner) Bowles was a court order against Zadock to pay an IOU given to his brother Jonathan without a due date. The Court action apparently was triggered by the above sale of land to Andrew. The judge notes "there is now sufficient funds in the hands of Andrew Conner to pay the note plus interest."1 He died circa 1845 at Floyd Co., Virginia.1
