Mr. Cannaday was a son of the late Andrew Luther and Nora Dell Aldridge Cannaday. He was of the Methodist faith and a member of the Civil Service Employees Association. He moved to Rockland County, N.Y., in 1929, and from there to Garnerville, N.Y., in 1959. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Chloe Webb Cannaday of Garnerville, N.Y., a native of Tift County; two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Reeves of East Northport, N.Y., and Mrs. Mary Jane Rumpf of Pompton Lakes, N.J; one brother, Stanford Cannaday of Roanoke; three brothers-in-law, Paul Webb, J.C. Webb, and Sanford Webb, all of Tifton; a sister-in-law, Alice Webb of Garnerville, N.Y; four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and his stepmother, Mrs. Ethel Cannaday of Martinsville. Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements. on May 19, 1983.3

Mr. Simpson was 91 years of age and leaves a widow who was Miss King before marriage, one daughter, Mrs. Barlow, who lived in the Simpson home.
He was not a member of any church, but a strong believer in the Primitive Baptist faith.
He was buried yesterday near his home in the presence od a large number of his friends and relatives, after the funeral was preached by Eld. J. M. Dickerson. on March 15, 1928.4
Mr. Simpson was 91 years of age and leaves a widow who was Miss King before marriage, one daughter, Mrs. Barlow, who lived in the Simpson home.

Dreama Lee Scott died on July 28, 2006 at Virginia at age 79.2 She Dreama Lee Scott Baker, 79, of Roanoke, passed away July 28, 2006. She was born November 19, 1926 in New Castle, Virginia to Roy Tatum Scott and Eva May Britts, both of whom predeceased her. Also predeceasing her was her beloved son, John Patrick Baker. Surviving are her four children, Dianne B. Hamilton, Robert F. Baker, Jr., Cynthia B. DeHart and husband Carl, and Elizabeth B. Wingfield, all of Roanoke. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Mrs. Baker was a registered nurse, retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield. The family wishes to thank Peggy Roscoe of Good Samaritan and special nurses, Janet and Joanne of Roanoke Memorial's 11th Floor. Visitation will be at Lotz Salem Chapel on Sunday, July 30, 2006 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Lotz Salem Chapel on Monday at 10 a.m. with Father Philip Gallagher officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Burial Park. Arrangements by Lotz Funeral Home, Salem. on July 29, 2006.2
