He is survived by his wife, Jackie; parents, Sonny and Zona Dobbins; children, Brandi Booze and husband, Daniel, and children, Caleb and John; Jessica Fitzgerald and husband, Troy, and children, Marcus and Xavier; Jeremy Clark and children, Caitlyn and Terry; sister, Rhonda Sullivan and husband Dan; and brother-in-law, Terry; sister-in-law, Vicki Hutchens; and brothers-in-law, Mike Farren and wife, Teressa, and Kenny Farren. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, Jackie's nephew, Greg Gordan (with whom Jerry shared a bond that the rest of the family could not understand) and his wife, Tonya, and children, Brandon and Aaron; and a host of wonderful friends. Jerry will be sadly missed by all of us. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.      Raymond Earl Aliff Jr. was born on September 21, 1957 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.4 He married Nancy Mary Strickler Spites, daughter of Joseph Howard Spites Sr. and Hazel Virginia Sweeney, on March 2, 1995 at Hillsborough Co., Florida.1 Raymond Earl Aliff Jr. and Nancy Mary Strickler Spites were divorced on June 2, 1999 at Franklin Co., Virginia.2,3 Raymond Earl Aliff Jr. died on August 21, 2021 at Virginia at age 63.2 He Raymond Earl Aliff "Boo", passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021, after a long illness. Raymond had a strong faith in God and found his comfort in the church. He had constant support through-out his illness from his ex-wife, Nancy Spites and his childhood friend, Carrie Leaver. Raymond's greatest pleasure was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle through-out Virginia. He was especially proud to be a veteran and found pleasure in riding his motor cycle with other veterans. A special thank you to the Nursing and staff at the Salem VA. Medical center for their compassion and care, and a thank you to Belmont Christian church for the many cards and support. on September 5, 2021.2

Spites Sr. and Hazel Sweeney Spites; and a son, Anthony Wayne Spites. Joseph is survived by his daughter, Melissa Spites; granddaughters, Shauni White and Nicole Kendall; sister, Nancy Spites; and numerous nieces and nephews. Interment at Glade Creek Cemetery in Blue Ridge. on December 21, 2011.2
