Kirby and Myrtle I Jernell, both of Roanoke, and Ruby M. Overstreet of Vinton, Va; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Contributions may be made to the Instant Aid Ambulance Fund in Poplar Ridge. on November 16, 1988.5

They will once again celebrate their wedding anniversary together in heaven on July 1st. She was also proceed in death by her sons, James Thomas Nichols, Carl Edwards Nichols and Marshall Everette Nichols; her grandsons, Thomas Wayne Smith and James Martin, Jr; and infant great-granddaughter, Kelsea Jade Nichols; brothers, Wendall Wimmer, Dennis Wimmer and "Dink" Wimmer; and a sister, Mary Hundley. Surviving to cherish her memory are her sons, Wesley (Marian) Nichols, Johnny Nichols, Fred (Patricia) Nichols, and Raymond Nichols; daughters, Ina Morgan, Leana Faye (Norman) Hoback, Pearlie Ann Sowers, Betty Jane Martin and Lillian Sue (Barry) Smith; brother, Carl (Claudine) Wimmer; sisters, Mabel Manning, Thelma Ramsey and Reba (Warren) Richards; 35 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren and 19 great great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Ernestine Nichols, Arnetta Nichols, Louise Nichols and Betty Lee Nichols, also Kim Smith and Karen Martin; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. A special thanks is extended to her loving and faithful caregivers, Jeanne Duncan and Christy. Ollie Mae was an inspiration to everyone that knew her, especially her family. she will be greatly missed by all. Funeral arrangements are being made by Wood Funeral Home in Floyd, Va. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 30, 2005 at Oakey's South Roanoke from 2 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, July 1 at Copper Hill Church of the Brethren from 1 to 2 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. at the Copper Hill Church of the Brethren, with with Rev. Maurice Wright and Rev. Dale bowman officiating with interment in the church cemetery. on July 1, 2005.3

She is survived by: sons and daugher-in-law, Thomas and Laurie Wimmer, Pilot, Donald Wimmer, Shawsville; daughters and son-in-law, Carolyn Wimmer, Salem, Patsy and Allen Link, Check; brothers and sisters-in-law, Clinton and Ruby Foster, Shawsville, John and Sue Foster, Radford; sisters and brother-in-law, Wanda and Calvin Powers, Shawsville, Hilda Argabright, Roanoke; grandchildren, Missy and Brad Mullins, Holly Wimmer, Joe Wimmer and Donnie Wimmer; a special friend, Nita Craft. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. William Fintel and staff (Susan and Cathy), Good Samaritan Hospice Staff, (Kelly, Jill, Ann and Carolyn) and the employees and friends at Alta Mons Methodist Camp. Funeral services was at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 7 at the graveside in Piedmont Cemetery conducted by Mr. Dennis Curd. Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg, handled arrangements. on January 10, 2002.2
