     Elmer Dale Conner was buried at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Courthouse Road, Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia.² He and Mary Virginia Hunt were divorced.⁴ Elmer Dale Conner was born on September 21, 1939 at Giatto, Mercer Co., West Virginia.^1,2 He married Mary Virginia Hunt on January 30, 1964 at Pearisburg, Giles Co., Virginia.^1,4 Elmer Dale Conner married Nancy Bird on January 24, 1986 at Roanoke, Virginia.⁴ Elmer Dale Conner died on November 11, 2011 at Virginia at age 72.² He Elmer (Dale) Conner, 72, of Christiansburg, went to be with Our Lord on Friday, November 11, 2011, following a brave battle with cancer. Born September 21, 1939, in Giatto, W.Va., he was the son of Gracie Conner of Radford and the late Elmer "Eli" Conner. Dale grew up in Giatto, where his father taught him to love the game of baseball. An avid player, he continued his play internationally while serving his country. Dale proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, Honorably Discharged in 1963. He worked for Watkins Trucking in North Carolina and volunteered his time to care for local children. He was a former member of Maple View Church of Christ in Bluefield and avid W.Va. Mountaineer fan. During recent years, he relocated to Virginia to care for his loving parents. Dale was preceded in death by his father and sister, Jeanie Conner Miano. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Nancy Conner of Christiansburg; son, Troy Lee Conner Malone of Tennessee; daughter, Debra Anne Conner Shannon of Florida; stepsons, David Wayne Sowers of Virginia, and Jerry Michael Pettrey of New Mexico; and nieces and nephews, Anthony Miano, Gina Miano, Marc Miano, and Michelle Miano Valentine. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, November 14, 2011, at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Tony Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The W.Va. National Guard Honor Guard and the Mercer County Veterans Council will conduct military graveside rites. Friends may call at the funeral home from Noon until the service hour Monday. Lillian Mae Simmons and Kipps Hardy Woolwine were divorced on May 25, 1950 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.⁵ Lillian Mae Simmons died on February 27, 1995 at Radford, Virginia, at age 72.^3,4,6 She Lillian Mae Gearheart Walker, 71, of Christiansburg, passed away Monday evening, February 27, 1995, in the Radford Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Cora Gearheart; a daughter, Brenda Benton; son, Michael Walker; granddaughter, Stacey Smith; and a sister, Nancy Graves. She leaves two loving daughters and a son-in-law, Betty and Coy Price of Blacksburg, Jean Cochran, Christiansburg; grandchildren, Tammy and Michael Jones, North Carolina, Jeffrey and Doe Cochran, Midlothian, Susan and Harvey Morris, Christiansburg, Gary and Kay Lawson, Ricky Lawson, all of Christiansburg, Nikki Walker, Floyd; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Jamie, Chase, Tanner, Nikki, Justin, Seth and Steven; a sister, Glada Blue, Christiansburg; two brothers, Cotton Simmons, Christiansburg, T.G.      Wanda Jean "Jeanie" Conner was buried at Sunrise Burial Park, Fairlawn, Pulaski Co., Virginia.¹ Her Social Security Number was 232-64-8549.⁸ She was born on August 22, 1941 at Conner Mountain, Mercer Co., West Virginia.^1,2,8 As of July 29, 1961,her married name was Miano.³ She married Anthony Thomas "Tony" Miano on July 29, 1961 at Welch, McDowell Co., West Virginia.^2,3 Wanda Jean "Jeanie" Conner died on November 7, 2004 at Radford, Virginia, at age 63.^1,8,9 She Jeanie Conner Miano, 63, peacefully went to rest with her Lord on Sunday, November 7, 2004 at her home in Radford. She was born on Conner Mountain, Mercer County, W.Va., attended McComas High School and graduated from Beaver High School in Bluefield, W.Va. After raising four children, she graduated from nursing school and became a Registered Nurse. She spent the past 25 years serving local residents at the Radford Community Hospital and Carilion New River Valley Medical Center in Radford. She was a loving mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her parents, Elmer and Gracie Conner, Radford (formerly of Bluefield and Princeton, W.Va.); one brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Nancy Conner of Wilksboro, N.C; four children and their spouses, Anthony and Heather Miano of Radford, Gina Miano of Roanoke, Marc and Sarah Miano of Radford, and Michelle and Shawn Valentine of Richmond; and three grandchildren; Morgan, Anthony and Alexandra Miano, all of Radford. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Burial Park in Radford. on November 9, 2004.¹

     Betty Virginia Woolwine was born on December 13, 1939 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.^2,3 She married Manuel Haven Lawson on February 24, 1956 at Cambria, Montgomery Co., Virginia.³ As of February 24, 1956,her married name was Lawson.³ Betty Virginia Woolwine and Manuel Haven Lawson were divorced on July 27, 1966 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.⁴ As of July 29, 1978,her married name was Price.³ Betty Virginia Woolwine married Leland Coy Price on July 29, 1978 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.³ Betty Virginia Woolwine died on February 7, 2017 at Montgomery Co., Virginia, at age 77.⁵ She Betty Woolwine Price, 77, of Christiansburg, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kipps Woolwine and Lillian Mae Simmons Woolwine Walker; her husband, Leland Coy Price; brother, Mike Walker, and sister, Brenda Benton. She is survived by her children, Tamara (Michael) Jones, Richard Lawson, and Gary Lawson; grandchildren, Aaron Jones, Jaimie Conlan, Justin Lawson, and Seth Lawson; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. She was a local nurse for over 32 years, loved children, and attended Cambria Pentecostal Holiness Church.
