This indenture made this 30th day of November one thousand eight hundred and forty-nine between William Conner Sr. And Catherine his wife of the one part and William P. Conner and Daniel P. Conner, his sons of the other part. Witness that said William Conner Sr. and Catherine his wife for and consideration of the love and respect for my two sons William and Daniel Conner and also for the further consideration of the sum of two dollars in hand paid by the above named William Conner Sr. And his wife Catherine the receipt whereof acknowledge by the above named William Conner Sr. And his wife Catherine hath bargained and sold unto the above named William and Daniel P. Conner one half of all my land including the dwelling house the above named parcel of land is to be the _______ and together with all and single the appurttenances hereto belonging into William and Daniel P. Anita Dawn Conner was born on March 4, 1958 at Floyd Co., Virginia.^1,2,3,4 She married Michael Ferguson on February 14, 1991.² As of February 14, 1991,her married name was Ferguson. Anita Dawn Conner died on February 12, 2010 at Virginia at age 51.⁴ She Anita Dawn Conner, 51, of Salem, Va. passed away Friday, February 12, 2010. She was born March 4, 1958 in Floyd County, daughter of Anna Lee Walton Conner, of Salem and the late Clyde Richard Conner. She was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her precious son, Jared Johnson; special caregivers, David and Carolyn Zimmerman; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at the chapel of John M. Oakey and Son, Salem. The family will receive friends Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at John M. Oakey and Son. Interment will follow at Wilson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Anita's memory to the trust fund for her son, Jared. on February 14, 2010.⁴

Buckley Jr., 85, of 1029 Hunsecker Road, died of natural causes at home Saturday. He was under a doctor's care. Born in Chester, he was the son of the late Walter S. Sr. and Anne McCray Buckley. His wife, Mildred "Millie" Wimmer Buckley, died in May 1999. Buckley was a 1933 graduate of Chester High School. He worked as manager of employee relations for Sun Co. in Philadelphia from 1933 to 1977. He was a member of Mechanic Grove Church of the Brethren in Quarryville. An avid reader and writer, he enjoyed researching family genealogy. Surviving are two daughters, Nancy E., married to Richard Prough of Lititz, and Anne M., married to Robert Lund of Oxford; three sons, Walter S. III, married to Andree Buckley of Westlake Village, Calif., John C. of Middletown and James D. of Philadelphia; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Eva, married to Frank Shaw of Ocean City, N.J. on February 21, 2000.²
