Jeanette was born on January 11, 1925, in Mullens, WV, to the late Henrietta (Connor) and Charles Jackson Kinzer. She married the love of her life, Paul Bond, and shared more than 60 happy years with him. They had one lovely daughter, Paulette Alice Bond Rikvold. Both Paul and Paulette preceded her in death as well as her brother: C.J. Kinzer and sisters: Flo Steffey and Frances Coley. Jeanette is survived by a son-in-law: Perarne Rikvold from Norway; her nephews: Charles (Debbie) Steffey of Raleigh, NC and Leonard Coley of Marion, OH, and nieces: Margaret (Dr. Fritz) Winegarner of Marion, OH, and Sara (Lynn) Walden and Shauna Walden from FL. She is also survived by special cousins: Mary Agnes and Joe Gorsica from VA. After she was married, Jeanette attended Beckley College and graduated from Morris Harvey College in Charleston, WV. She became an elementary school teacher and worked at Maxwell Hill Elementary School in Beckley. Jeanette is best known for her love for her family and anyone else who crossed her path. Hospitality and kindness were her gifts to this world. She was also deeply committed to her Lord Jesus and practiced her Christian faith as a Sunday School teacher at Beckley Presbyterian Church. Jeanette loved to play bingo, bridge and other card games and was very competitive. She was often seen scouring garage sales looking for hidden treasures. She was full of fun and good times. "Aunt Net" was always able to find the worst restaurant in any town and think it was the greatest. We will miss our beloved Jeanette Bond and all the memories associated with this great lady. The family would like to express their gratitude to Kingston Memory Care for their extraordinary love and care of our sweet Aunt Net for the last 5 years. Thanks to Kindred Hospice Care as well. Louis was born in Iron Gate, on July 9, 1937. He was the son of the late Charlie Paul and Edith Mae Helmintoller Showalter. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Vera Catherine Martin Showalter and by a brother, Charlie Paul Showalter Jr. Louis was retired from the Norfolk Southern Railway with 32 years of service, completing the last ten years as a Supervisor of Communications. He also served four years in the United States Navy. Louis was a long time member of the First Church of God in Roanoke. Louis helped coach little league ball in the North Roanoke recreation league and was also a Cub Scout Leader in Salem and bus driver for the Sounds of Joy. The past few years he has spent countless hours working as a volunteer for the Fincastle Library. Most of his work consisted of typing records for the genealogy section. Louis also enjoyed singing with the community choir in Iron Gate. Survivors include a daughter, Janet Mae Pannell and her husband Randy; two sons, Louis Ross Showalter II, Wesley Showalter and his wife Tina; four grandchildren, Troy Pannell, Megan Hammarback and her husband Lee, Robert Louis Pannell and his wife Ashley and Andersen G. Showalter; one great-grandchild, Bauer Hammarback; two brothers, Gary Leon Showalter and his wife Barbara and Eddie Cole; a sister, Bonnie Mae Perry and her husband Mike; dear companion, Jane "Frosty" Webb; numerous nephews; and nieces. She was the wife of Adolph Carassale. Born in Hartford, Md., she was a long-time South Bound Brook resident. She was a member of the South Bound Brook Reformed Church, former president of the South Bound Brook and Somerset County Women's Republican Clubs, a GOP municipal chairman and formerly a South Bound Brook committeewoman. She was a member of the South Bound Brook First Aid Squad, the Somerville Mental Health Association, active in Girl Scouting and also in other charitable community groups. addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, David and William Conner, both of South Bound Brook; two brothers, David Little of Portsmouth, Va., and William Little of Baltimore, Md; two sisters, Mrs. Rachel Scarba of Baltimore and Mrs. Susan Anderson of Portsmouth. Mr. Conner was an electrical designer for Union Carbide Corp. in Bound Brook for 40 years, retiring in 1984. He was a member of the South Bound Brook Fire Company for 38 years and a member of the Exempt Fire Co. He was also a Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop #42 in South Bound Brook. Mr. Conner was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church in South Bound Brook. His hobby was making toys. A half-sister Nancy Bentz, preceded death. Surviving are his wife, Beatrice Conner; a son, David K. Conner Jr. of South Bound Brook; three daughters, Judith Ann Salcewicz of Lawrenceville, Carol Jean Harabin of South Bound Brook and Susan E. Warrelmann of South Bound Brook; his stepfather, Adolph Carassale; a brother, William Clyde Conner Jr. of South Bound Brook; two half-brothers, Raymond Conner of Bound Brook and Ronald Conner of Easton, Pa; a half-sister, Linda Barbarevech of Bound Brook; and seven grandchildren. on May 19, 1997.²

Conner, 77, died Wednesday (March 21, 2007) at the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs Medical Facility at East Orange. He was born May 28, 1929, in Petersburg, Va., and lived in South Bound Brook most of his life. Mr. Conner was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He served in the occupation of Japan in World War II. In Korea, he was twice wounded by shrapnel, and was awarded the Purple Heart medal with Oak Leaf Cluster. Mr. Conner had worked for the former Ruberoid Co.,! South Bound Brook, years ago. He became Postmaster in South Bound Brook in 1954, and was the youngest Postmaster in the United States at that time. He retired from postal service in 1966. He then became the office manager at the Hicks Insurance Co., Bridgewater, retiring in 1979. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, Class of 1968. Mr. Conner was very actively involved in, and volunteered much of his time to various veterans organizations. He was a Past Commander of Carroll Dupree Post No. 363, American Legion, South Bound Brook, a Past Vice Commander of the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 16, Somerville, a member of Thomas J. Kavanaugh Post 2290, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Manville, and was a member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart. Mr. Conner was a Life Member of the South Bound Brook First Aid Squad. He was a member of Bound Brook Lodge No. 1388, B.P.O. Elks. He was a longtime member of the Reformed Church of Bound Brook, South Bound Brook, where he had taught Sunday School years ago. Mr. Conner was predeceased by his mother, Charlotte Little Carassale; his stepfather, Adolph Carassale; and his brother, David Conner. He is survived by his wife, of 56 years, Helen Buzaleski Conner; his sons, William Conner of South Bound Brook, Robert Conner of Allentown, Pa., Lee Conner of Highbridge, Patrick Conner of South Bound Brook; eight grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. His ashes will be entombed at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va. on March 26, 2007.⁸

James Raymond Iddings or Jimmy as many called him, was the light of our lives. He was the funniest man on earth, made everyone feel welcome and lucky to have known him. He lit up a room with his humor, his love of people and his positive attitude. He loved his family and friends deeply. Jimmy was born in Kent Washington and graduated from Kent Meridian High School in 1950. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jackie Colson Iddings, and his son, Randy Iddings, daughter, Ronanne Riley and son-in-law Jack Riley. He was very proud of his 4 grandchildren: James Ryan Iddings 24, Erin Marie Iddings 22, John Jackson Riley 22, and James Raymond Riley 19. His dog Stuey is also wondering where he is. He was an athlete in high school, playing football and basketball and was the state champion in the high hurdles. He had an athletic scholarship to the University of Washington and was an Olympic hopeful for track. However, school was not the right path for Jimmy, and he soon joined his brother in business, forming a successful company still being run by his son Randy today. For over twenty years, he was a member of a barbershop quartet called the Ford Do Matics and together they sang all over the United States, as well as performing overseas for the US troops on a USO Tour. He spent the last 15 years in Winthop, enjoying the community, his many newfound friends and puttering on his farm. A great source of pride was his wheel line which he put together himself; he enjoyed seeing the water pumping out of it and growing this first year's crop. He radiated happiness all of his life and we will all miss him immensely. on September 14, 2008.⁵

     Dollie Fay Dart was buried at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens, Flatwoods, Greenup Co., Kentucky.^3,4 She was born on February 14, 1935 at Ward, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.^3,4 As of November 6, 1956,her married name was Iddings.² She married Donald Ray Iddings, son of Calvin Roy Ray Iddings and Cosy Lea McClung, on November 6, 1956 at Montgomery, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.^1,2,3 Dollie Fay Dart died on November 21, 2014 at Flatwoods, Greenup Co., Kentucky, at age 79.³ She Dollie Fay Dart-Iddings, 79, of Flatwoods, passed away at her residence on Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, and she is now at rest in the presence of her Lord and Savior. She was born Feb. 14, 1935, in Ward, W.Va., to the late John and Edith Heideman-Dart. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Iddings in 2003; a great-grandchild, Lisa Cordle; and two brothers and two sisters. Dollie was a homemaker and a longtime active member of the Centenary United Methodist Church in Ashland where she took part in various church groups. Left behind to cherish her memory is a devoted and loving family including two daughters, Charlotte and Don Martell of Hot Spring Village, Ark., and Peggy Coburn of Jacksonville, Fla; a son, Steven and Nancy Iddings of Flatwoods; three sisters, Alice Johnson of Ravenswood, W.Va., Thelma Young of Dunbar, W.Va., and Joann Brooks of Culloden, W.Va; two brothers, Charles Dart of Bristolville, Ohio, and Robert Dart of Johns Island, S.C; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many friends and church family, all of whom will miss her dearly. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods. on November 23, 2014.³
