Mrs. Cando was born in Floyd County, Va to the late Joseph and Vertie Wimmer and was also preceded in death by her husband Robert G. Cando. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday at Jones Funeral Home Chapel Jacksonville with Reverend Preston Wells officiating. Interment will follow at Onslow Memorial Park. Surviving are her four children, Roger Cando of Wilmington, Beverly Payne of Charlotte, Sharon Jones of Jacksonville and Gail Simmons of Scott Hill.
