Cliff served his country in the U.S. Air Force and followed with employment in civil service at Wright-Patterson AFB, retiring after many years of service. Born May 9, 1928, in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Rube and Hallie Clark. In Addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Jean Vines, Barbara's father, Ralph Reed and grandson, Jimmie Vines. Peggy was employed by Maidenform, Inc. of Princeton during her working years. She spent time with her daughter and grandson following her retirement from Maidenform. She is survived by her sisters, Ms. Louise Houston-Fisher of Charleston; Ms. Jerry Ann Laufer and Nancy Martz and companion Shelby Kitts all of Princeton; Special niece, Gail Marino and several other nieces and nephews. Born July 29, 1928, in Princeton, she was a daughter of the late Max Spencer Wiley. Her stepfather and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Miller of Athens, survive. Other survivors include her husband, Walter W. Reed Jr; one daughter, Myra Gail Reed, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Jack Fain and Miss Ruth Wiley, both of Athens; and one brother, James Wiley, stationed with the Marines at Camp LeJeune, N.C. on July 23, 1959.²

Burcham of Huntington; one brother, Dean Nichols and his wife Virginia of Princeton; and one sister, Ernestine Alley of Dublin, Va. The body has been cremated. on August 18, 2006.²
