     Lavinia Josephine Neaves Lavinia Josephine "Curly" Poff, age 75, of Damascus, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2006 at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She was a native of Damascus, Virginia, and was a daughter of the late William "Bud" and Lottie Neaves. Mrs. Poff was a member of the Damascus Senior Citizens Center, where she especially enjoyed preparing the bean dinners and taking trips with all her friends from the Center. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Damascus, Virginia. She will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter C. Poff; two brothers, Tommy Neaves and Jack Neaves; and six sisters, Willie Wyatt, Maxine Widener, Margaret Jackson, Rowena Alderson, Georgia Cooper, and Dean Hudson. She is survived by her son, Malcolm "Butch" Poff, of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Kathy Orr, of Destin, Florida and Joyce Blevins, of Bristol, Tennessee; one sister, Peggy Rust, of Danville, Virginia; her companion, Tom Rogers, of Damascus, Virginia; four grandchildren, Steve Orr, Bradley Watkins, Jennifer Martin, and Argyle Poff; three great-grandchildren, Casey Orr, Kaylee Orr, and Zachary Martin; and several nieces and nephews.
