     Kenneth Eugene Bare Kenneth Eugene Bare, 84, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 9, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Winifred “Wint” Bare and Ersie Watkins; and sisters, Mary “Lou” Seymore and Peggy Buckles. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Bare; son, Tim Bare; daughter, Kimberly Wallace (Terry); sisters, Margaret Surber, Edith Bramlett, and Reba Martin (Dave); and brothers, Ralph Watkins and Ronald Watkins. He was a huge UVA sports fan and an avid fisherman (with his best friend, Tip Ayers, at Smith Mountain Lake). He also followed the Cincinnati Reds, Washington Redskins, and loved NASCAR, especially Junior Johnson. Interment will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.³ He was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5737 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, Virginia.³ He was born on April 1, 1938 at Abingdon, Washington Co., Virginia.⁴ He married Joyce Eileen Aldridge, daughter of Wellington Arlington "Willie" Aldridge and Eva Charlene Willis, on June 25, 1965 at Floyd Co., Virginia.^1,5,6,2,7 Kenneth Eugene Bare died on September 9, 2022 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 84.³

She was the widow of Ernest R. Conner and a member of Villa Heights Baptist Church.      Peggy Cornelia Young Sheila Garman, Travis Aldridge, and Charles Aldridge are heartbroken but by Faith, we’re happy knowing our mother, Peggy Y. Aldridge is rejoicing in Heaven as of July 22, 2023. She's completely healed and back together with the love of her life Charles, she had missed Dad so much after he passed. She leaves a legacy of love instilled in her three children, five grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren who had her support in every way and were loved with all her heart. She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Charles Aldridge Sr; sister, Nancy Sink; and brother, Richard Young. In addition to her children, she is survived by her sisters, Helen Janice (Melvin), and Lois Marie (Walter); and brother, Glenn; and numerous nieces and nephews.² She was born on August 1, 1946 at Henry Co., Virginia.¹ She married Charles Bure Aldridge Sr., son of Bure Comrade Aldridge and Virginia Frances Willis, on February 19, 1965 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.^1,2 As of February 19, 1965,her married name was Aldridge.¹ Peggy Cornelia Young died on July 22, 2023 at Virginia at age 76.²

     Joseph Barry Wray Jr. was born on December 9, 1970 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.^1,2 He died on March 4, 2022 at age 51.¹ He Joseph Barry Wray Jr. was born on December 9, 1970. He passed away suddenly on Friday, March 4, 2022. Joe grew up in Rocky Mount, Virginia. After attending Virginia Commonwealth University, he transferred to Radford University and was certified to teach. He moved to Charlottesville, Virginia and taught Art for seven years. It was there that he met Laurie, the love of his life. They moved to Nags Head, N.C. in 2000 and he became a very successful Realtor/Broker and ran his company, Wray Realty. Joe loved life and lived each day to the fullest. His motto was Live on Vacation. And he did. He was a talented artist and photographer. He loved deep sea and surf fishing. He loved kayaking and biking. He loved music and cooking. He was an avid collector, a passion he shared with his brother. Joe is survived by his best friend and soul mate of 29 years, Laurie Hager; his devoted parents, Barry and Nelda Wray; and his best friend and brother, Brad, Leigh Ann and Mallory, Laurie's family, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends in Franklin County and the Outer Banks and their beloved cat, Turbo, all of whom he loved dearly. on March 10, 2022.¹
