Huffman, Denny Fitzgerald, Gary Brooks and Carl Furry. He was born in Washington, D.C. to Lois Baker Galway and the late Elwood J. Ridgley, Jr. He was the stepson of the late George J. Galway; step brother of Garry J. Galway and the nephew of Robert Baker. Mark lived in New Orleans since 1961 and served in the U.S. Navy during the end of the Vietnam War. He was a true New Orleanian, enjoying the lifestyle and living life to the fullest. For many years, he owned and operated Warehouse District Pizza and could always be counted on to bring the food to any gathering. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. Mark was his own person who could always be counted on to share his goodness and personality with those he came in contact with. He will be sadly missed by all, but especially by his mother and his friend, Lisa Mondello. Interment will be private in Garden of Memories Cemetery. She was a faithful wife, loving mother and grandmother and a faithful member of Clifford Baptist Church, where she loved her Sunday School class. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Curtis D. Fitzgerald Jr., and wife, Jean, of Fredericksburg, Ray Anthony Taylor, and wife, Tamara, and Gregory Edward Taylor, and wife, Angelica, both of Gladstone; a daughter, Karen T. Fuqua, and husband, John, of Amherst; three sisters, Sandra W. O'Brien, and husband, Mack, of Gladstone, Wanda W. Creasey, and husband, Jack, of Amherst, and Gloria W. Millner, and husband, Ron, of Bedford; a brother, Luther T. Wright Jr., and wife, Caroline, of Gladstone; 15 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Burial will follow in the Amherst Cemetery. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and CNAs at Lynchburg General Hospital, Amherst Dialysis Center, Fairmont Crossing, the Allen B. Pearson Cancer Center and also her caregivers at home. on July 6, 2010.³
