He is preceded in death by his parents, Corbin and Doris. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Rosemary; sons, Keith and Tony; daughter, Kathy (Phillip) Solomon; step-children, Robert (Deborah) Webster, Donna (Tim) Haddix and Linda (David) Pendleton. He is also survived by two brothers, Jack and Danny; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly. He is also survived by his fur baby “Sam” who was his riding buddy. His laughter, “little jokes” and the unconditional love he showed others will be missed by all who knew and loved him. She is survived by her children, Linda (David) Pendleton, Robert (Deborah) Webster, and Donna (Tim) Haddix; stepchildren, Tony Strickler, Kathy (Philip) Soloman, and Keith Strickler; sisters, Jean and Barbara, who reside in England; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she dearly loved. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Wanda Dutton of Marion, Va., Mrs. Paul (Willie Mae) Presley, Mrs. Elaine Via, both of Cheaseapeake, Mrs. Betty Randall of Virginia Beach, Va., Mrs. Carlyle (Margaret L.) Thorn of Princeton; eleven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren aLso survive. Services will be conducted Friday at 4 p.m., from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory with Rev. Bill Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery in Princeton. on January 4, 1979.6

Survivors: daughters, Carol Pickle of Falston, Md., and Nancy Croy Carrico of Marion, Va; and sisters, Willie Mae Presley and Elaine Via of Chesapeake, Va., Margaret L. Thorn of Princeton and Betty Randall of Virginia Beach, Va. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday in the Seaver-Brown Funeral Home at Marion and burial will be at the Roselawn Cemetery at Marion. on January 1, 1988.3
