Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. on September 3, 2000.8

Hubble and his wife, Barbara Hubble of Smithfield; three grandchildren, Cathy Berry of Smithfield, Allison Mabrey of Roanoke and Tracey Dieber of Forest; four great-grandchildren and two half brothers, Everett Owens and Homer Owens of Salem; and a sister-in-law, Beulah A. Hubble of Catawba. Interment with full military honors by VFW Post 1264, will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. on September 6, 1998.8

Other survivors include two brothers, Morris, of Detroit, Mich., and Jack of Fayetteville; seven sisters, Mrs. Cammie King, of Fayetteville; Mrs. Noel Garten, of Gauley Bridge; Mrs. Notrie Franklin and Mrs. Arie Stewart, of Glen Jean; Mrs. Pauline Donnelly, of Detriot; Mrs. Golden Sovine, of Fayetteville and Mrs. Nettie Sessler, of Beckley. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Fayetteville Presbyterian Church with the Rev. B. B. Breitenhirt and the Rev. W. E. Winter, of Charleston officiating. Burial will be in the Huse memorial Park. The body will be removed to the home Saturday, at 7 p.m. and will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services. The Lafayette American Legion Post will be in charge of services at the graveside. on June 6, 1952.6

Funeral rites will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Falls View Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Lewis V. Boyle will officiate and burial will be in the Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville. The body is at the Dodd-Payne Mortuary in Fayetteville. on April 27, 1954.7

She was preceded in death in 1949 by her husband Herbert Lewis Sessler, the owner/operator of Beckley Mount Hope Airport located where the Beckley Plaza Shopping Center now resides. Also preceding her in death were 11 siblings; Ralph John King, Cammie Violet King, Thelma Ethel Garten, Notra Dame Pennington, Arie Dee Stewart, Pauline Mary Donley, Norris Clinton King and Madeline (Golden) Church, Trent Jack King, Hobart King and Malley King. She also is survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her family. Nettie’s goal in life as a single mother was to raise her three children in a Christian home and teach them the principles of living a Godly life. She is a true testament for single mothers. She fought a good fight, she has finished her course, and she kept her faith. To God be the glory. Nettie’s three children are: John Daniel (Dan) Sessler and wife Cindy Lou Smith Sessler of Newark, Texas; Patra (Patty) Priddy of Daniels, W.Va; son-in-law Don Priddy of Sophia, W.Va; Mary Lou Short and husband Dr. Robert Teel Short of Oak Hill, W.Va.. Also surviving her are nine grandchildren: Scott Coleman Priddy and wife Cindy, Eric Priddy, Ashley Priddy, Robert Short II and wife Barb, Todd Short and wife Sandrine, Chris Short, Jonette Sessler, Jelayne Sessler and JD Sessler II; six great-grand children: Scott Coleman Priddy II, Scott Connor Priddy, Catherine Elizabeth Priddy, Madison Lane Short, Morgan Rae Short and Lyric Astraea Short-Graham. She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God in Beckley for over 40 years and in the last couple of years attended Star Ministries in Daniels. Funeral services will be held at Melton Mortuary Wednesday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Bush officiating. The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. until the time of service. The body remains at Stevens Funeral Home pending arrangements. on June 17, 1962.3
