     Amanda Ashley Belcher was buried at Old Jack Shrewsbury Cemetery, Corrine, Wyoming Co., West Virginia.^1,2 She Amanda Ashley Belcher, 30 of Mullens passed away on Tuesday April 21, 2020 at Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley surrounded by her family. Born December 2, 1989 in Beckley, to the late Steven Warren Belcher, and Carol Shrewsbury Johnson. Amanda was a 2008 graduate of Wyoming East High School, and Vocational Technical School with a certificate as a CNA. She held many jobs and loved taking care of the elderly. She studied at Valley College online with a degree in Medical Billing, Coding and just had recently finished her degree in Associate Health Services Administration. She also worked as a Project Coordinator/ Peer Recovery coach at Recovery Point West Virginia. We will never forget her fighting spirit and determination and the love she had for her family, friends, and those she tried to help. She was preceded in death by her father, Steven Warren Belcher in 2011, and paternal grandparents Calvin Warren and Jean Conner Belcher, and maternal grandfather Bernard Johnson. She is survived by her mother Carol and step father Harvey Johnson of Bluefield, Two daughters who were her pride and joy, Braelynn Jade Hall, and Brooklynn Mykah Cox. One brother, Nicholas Stephen Belcher of Bluefield, two step sisters Courtney Matney of Springville VA, Kala Johnson of Sugarland Texas, and stepbrother, Jeremiah Johnson of Morgantown. One niece Brielle Hawkins of Sugarland Texas and one nephew Kingston Matney of Springville Va. She is also survived by the love of her life, her fiancee', Billy Jarrell and his daughter Addisyn Jade Jarrell. Maternal Grandmother Mary Bishop Johnson, and step-grandmother Willie Johnson. Special Aunt, Carolyn Belcher, many more Uncles, Aunts, special cousins and mumerous friends, including two special friends Candice Jenkins and Allison Fralin and also her two faithful pets, Annie & Ariel.¹ She was born on December 2, 1989 at Beckley, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.^1,2 She died on April 21, 2020 at Beckley, Raleigh Co., West Virginia, at age 30.^1,2

"Sam" Conner was buried at Puckett Cemetery, Copper Hill, Floyd Co., Virginia.¹ He was born on February 6, 1835 at Floyd Co., Virginia.^5,1 He married Elizabeth Jane King, daughter of Michael M. King and Mary R. Smith, on January 31, 1867 at Floyd Co., Virginia.⁵ Samuel R. "Sam" Conner died on February 5, 1920 at Floyd Co., Virginia, at age 84.¹

     Her Social Security Number was 224-09-2460.⁷ Levenia Ethel Palmer was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5737 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, Virginia.¹ She was born on August 23, 1909 at Floyd Co., Virginia.^7,5 She married John Albert Sowder, son of John Sowder and Alice Evelyn Wertz, on May 30, 1928.^1,5,8,2 As of May 30, 1928,her married name was Sowder. Levenia Ethel Palmer died on June 4, 2003 at Virginia at age 93.^1,7 She SOWDER, Levenia Ethel Palmer, 93, of Roanoke, departed this life on Wednesday, June 4, 2003. She was a member of Laurel Ridge Primitive Baptist Church for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Albert Sowder; and daughter, Delores Hicks. Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Johnnie and Lorrine Sowder, Charles Sowder, and Ray and Becky Sowder, all of Roanoke; granddaughters and husbands, Doris and Stan Courser of Roanoke, Alice Milton of Roanoke, Pam and Zane Kinney of Atlanta, Ga., Emily Sowder and husband, Josh Coleman and Erin Sowder of Roanoke; three great-grandsons, Michael Rhodes and wife, Lisa, Skylar and Benjamin Sowder; one great-great-granddaughter, Sue Marie Rhodes; one brother, Tommy Palmer and wife, Rosemary of Stewartsville; also many nieces and nephews; and three special caregivers, Susan St. Clair, Linda Dalton and Marlene Gromada. Services will be held in Laurel Ridge Primitive Baptist Church on Roselawn Road, SW, Roanoke County at 2 p.m. Saturday with Elder Leonard J. Brammer and the Rev. Maurice E. Wright officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Oakey's South Chapel. on June 6, 2003.¹

     Daniel Joseph Green Smith Sr. was buried at Copper Hill Church of the Brethren Cemetery, 8838 Floyd Hwy N. She was born on January 5, 1890 at Franklin Co., Virginia.^3,1,2 She died on August 23, 1978 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia, at age 88.^4,3,1,2 She Mrs. Effie Mills Smith, age 88 of Rt. 5, died Wednesday, August 23, 1978, in a Salem hospital. She was the widow of Daniel Joseph Smith. Surviving are five sons, Howard A. Smith, Guy T. Smith, Richard S. Smith, all of Roanoke; Homer G. Smith, Copper Hill; Daniel J. Smith, Salem; one daughter, Mrs. Weta A. Wimmer, Roanoke; one step son, Milton E. Smith, Roanoke; three sisters, Mrs. Pearl DeWeese, Mrs. Thelma Prillaman, both of Roanoke; Mrs. Sallie DeWeese, Copper Hill; also 19 grandchildren; 29 great grand children. Funeral services were held from the Copper Hill Church of the Brethern Friday, August 25, at 2 p. m. with the Rev. Frank H. Wimmer officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her father, Dock F. Sweeney, Roanoke; two sisters, Mrs. A. C. Yates, Mrs. Joseph Spites, Roanoke; a brother, Lester Earl Sweeney, Roanoke. Services will be held in Sherwood, Roanoke. on April 28, 1957.⁵
