He was born April 27, 1902, in Carroll County, Va. He was the son of the late Thomas Jefferson Mabry and Artie M. Worrell Mabry. He attended the Christian Fellowship Tabernacle, Christiansburg, Va. He was a retired supervisor for the Radford Army Ammunition Plant, Radford. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Cecil F. (Louise) Switzer, New Castle, Va; Mrs. James W. (Virginia) Epperly, Roanoke, Va; Mrs. Lewis "Bud" (Margie) Warburton, Pulaski, Va; Mrs. Aaron J. (Annie) McPeak, Sr., Radford, Va; Mrs. Charles T. (Mildred) Jones, Salem, Va; three sons, Clarence Tommy Mabry, Pembrook, Va; James Otis Mabry, Pulaski, Va; Larry Douglas Mabry, Polkton, N.C; 34 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Stella Nester, Rockville, Md; Mrs. Ethel Tickle, Dublin, Va; Mrs. Jess (Della) Tolbert, Dublin, Va. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski, with the Rev. Earnest Fulcher officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin, Va. Visiting will be anytime Wednesday with the family receiving friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski. Bower Funeral Chapel, 1631 Bob White Blvd., Pulaski, is handling the arrangements. on June 19, 1991.1

Catania; and a son, Frank Hancock. She leaves behind her three daughters, Carol Carmon of Linden, Doris Boahn and her husband, John, of Raeford, and Brenda Garofone and her husband, John, of Fayetteville; two sisters, Margaret Semmones of Spartanburg, S.C., and Marjorie Wade of Roanoke; a brother, Ernest Douglas Jr. of Princeton, W. Va; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov 2, 2009, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home, 500 Ramsey St., Fayetteville. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, at Faymont Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Evans officiating. She will be laid to rest in Lafayette Memorial Park. Services entrusted to Rogers and Breece Funeral Home of Fayetteville. on November 1, 2009.3
