     James Ronald Poff was buried at Roselawn Burial Park, 103 Clearview Drive, Martinsville, Virginia.2 He was born on September 14, 1941 at Martinsville, Virginia.1,2,3 He married Lillie Rebecca "Becky" Bennett on August 20, 1960 at Alleghany Co., North Carolina.7 James Ronald Poff died on November 27, 2015 at Eden, Rockingham Co., North Carolina, at age 74.2 He James Ronald "Ron" Poff, 74, of Ridgeway, passed away Friday November 27, 2015, at Morehead Hospital in Eden, N.C. He was born September 14, 1941, in Martinsville to the late Luyn Horace and Marion Louise Hill Poff. Ron retired as sales manager for Flowers Bakery with 30 years service, and also worked for six years at Webster's Marina at Smith Mountain Lake. He was a graduate of Martinsville High School, Class of 1960, and attended Mount Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church. Ron was also an avid golfer, and loved his family. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Becky B. Poff of the home; two sons, Tracy Poff and wife, Jennifer, of Bassett, Ricky Poff of Ridgeway; one brother, Jerry Poff and wife, Judy, of Gainesville, Ga; two sisters, Patricia Poole and husband, Hugh, and Bonnie Brewer, both of Martinsville; four grandchildren, Justin Poff, Jessica Poff, Luke Noe, and Jonathon Poff; three great-grandchildren, Logan Poff, Nathanel Poff, and Jonai Poff. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. on November 29, 2015.2

She is survived by her husband, Hubert R. (Hugh) Poole, of the home, a sister, Bonnie Brewer of Laurel Park, and a brother, Jerry D. Poff, of Gainesville, Georgia. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Ronald Poff. Pat graduated from Martinsville High School, Emmanuel College of Franklin Springs, Georgia and Averette College, Danville. Pat taught school for 24 years, primarily at Snow Creek School in Franklin County, Virginia where she was loved and respected by everyone. She never complained one time of the drive between her home in Martinsville and Snow Creek. Pat and her husband attended Trinity Friends Church for over 35 years before changing to Immanual Friends in Eden and Hillcrest Baptist in Horsepasture. Reba and Carl were blessed with 10 grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. The Craigheads were master gardeners. They spent their lives dedicated to family and the Grace Presbyterian Church, Glade Spring, Va. Reba was a graduate of Check High School and retired from Johnston Memorial Hospital. She lived the last four years at the Valley Health Care Center in Chilhowie, Va., where she received loving care and developed many friendships. The immediate family will receive friends and other family members on Friday, May 14, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Maberry Funeral Home, Floyd, Va. Due to Reba's wishes, there will be no public viewing. The funeral service will begin 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 15, 2010, also at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Mr. Larry Phillips. Also surviving are her precious grandchildren, Dana Young (Roanoke), Brandon and Angela Hodges, of Willis, Matthew Montgomery and Erin Yearout-Patton, of Powhatan, Ashleylachell Young, of Richmond, Sheena Young, of Roanoke, Mack Montgomery Jr., of Willis, Mekaila Young, of Check, Arlene Montgomery, of Greenville, Miss., Michael Young, of Salem, and Kara Young, of Check. She is also survived by her great- grandchildren, Zachariah Hodges, Malachi Montgomery, Lily Young, Ella Hodges, and Dylan and Tyler Young. Surviving sisters- in-law are Catherine Williams, of Roanoke, Hazel Young, of Christiansburg and Marie Young, of Norfolk; as well as many nieces and nephews. Nanny Opal was always a care-giver, caring for her family and others before herself. She loved her family dearly as well as all animals. She will be greatly missed even though the family knows that she is free of pain and in the loving arms of the Lord. The family is especially thankful to Sherry Reed, Karen King, Kelly Sweeney from Carilion Hospice who did so much to make her last days on this earth easier and more enjoyable and to help the family though this time of life. on September 6, 2013.3

(Gladys) Parker, Orlando, Fl; also surviving is a half brother, Ralph Akers, Roanoke; a half-sister, Mrs. Marie Harrison, Portsmouth; a dear friend, Mrs. Beatrice Altis, Roanoke; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Interment will be in Sherwood Cemetery. on August 13, 1987.1
