He is survived by his children, Vicki Poff Wright and husband, Pat of Christiansburg, Va. and Joseph (Joey) Henry Poff, Jr. and wife, Amanda of Blacksburg, Va; four grandchildren, Paige Wright of Ft. Hood, Texas, Courtney Wright of Christiansburg, Va., Ella Poff and Luke Poff of Blacksburg, Va; two nieces, Darlene Poff Hansen of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and Mildred Poff Banks of Fincastle, Va. Interment will be in Sunset cemetery, Christiansburg. on November 8, 1929.⁴
