Patricia Ann "Pat" Travaglini1,2,3

F, b. April 9, 1943, d. April 6, 2019
Patricia Ann "Pat" Travaglini Patricia Ann Austin was born in Philadelphia on April 9, 1943. After a long struggle with cancer, she sadly lost the battle on April 6, 2019. Her parents were Louis and Elizabeth [Montani] Travaglini. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Burton Dale and three children: Jeffrey Michael, Jennifer Dale [Polucci], and Jason Louis. Jennifer and her husband Michael gave her two beautiful granddaughters, Elizabeth and Katherine. She is also survived by her brother, Louis Joseph Travaglini, Aunt Theresa [Montani] Rosini, Uncle Lewis Simons and numerous Travaglini and Montani relatives. Other family members include brother and sister-in-law, James and Charlotte Austin of Chattanooga TN and their family. She graduated from Notre Dame High School in Moylan, PA. After graduation, she worked as a secretary at Publicker Industries and then at Bell Telephone. After marriage, she raised her three children and managed the household while Dale worked at Boeing Helicopters. She loved active hobbies such as aerobic dancing and skiing. She also enjoyed taking several trips each year to the family cattle farm in rural Virginia, where the children could experience a simpler way of life. Once the children were grown, she enjoyed a long career at the Franklin Mint. After Dale retired, they toured all continental states including Alaska, as well as the provinces of Canada. They visited thirty national parks where she fondly created her greatest travel memories. When her grandchildren were born in Colorado, she also loved spending time with them in Steamboat Springs, perhaps the happiest time of her life. In later life, she and Dale traveled to Europe to see Ireland, Scotland, and Italy, giving her additional worldly experiences. Although she was unable to overcome her health battle late in life, she leaves behind a loving family with many fond memories, and will sadly be missed. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.3 She was buried at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 Sproul Road, Springfield, Delaware Co., Delaware.3 She was born on April 9, 1943 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.3 She married Burton Dale Austin, son of Willie Burton Austin and Agatha Dale Vest, in June, 1965 at Delaware.1,2,3,4 As of June, 1965,her married name was Austin.4 Patricia Ann "Pat" Travaglini died on April 6, 2019 at Delaware at age 75.3
