In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Brenda Ford Conner, his second wife, Katherine Conner, along with two brothers, Coy and Ross Conner and a sister, Louise Bowles. Survivors: His son, Scotty Conner of Roanoke, Va; two brothers, Virgil C. Conner of Princeton and Troy Conner of Athens; a host of nieces and nephews.
