Nadine was a longtime resident of the Mt. Pleasant community in Roanoke County where she enjoyed walking with her friends and participating in activities at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Nelson) Wakefield; son, David (Vickie) Conner; daughter, Janet (Greg) Ratliff; and one brother, Charles "Butch" (Caroline) Reed. Nadine also is survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who she adored and loved spending many happy times with. The family would like to thank the Salem Terrace Dogwood Memory Care nurses and staff as well as Good Samaritan Hospice for all the loving care they provided our Mom. Interment will follow at Rest Vale Cemetery in Copperhill, Va. on January 9, 2018.2
