She is survived by her husband, Charles D. Gray Sr; one son, Charles D. Gray Jr. of Gastonia, two daughters, Mrs. Lamar Summey of Gastonia and Mrs. Catherine Jackson of Norwalk, Conn; one sister, Mrs. Lawson Cabaness of Roanoke, Va; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church by the Rev. John McWhorter and the Rev. Clyde Collins. Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Charles D. Cray III, T. Alex Gray, William P. Summey, Lamar Shuford Surnmey Jr., David G. Gray Jr., James C. gray, J. Lander Gray III and William C. Rustin. The family Carothers Funeral Home tonight from 7-9. on April 15, 1976.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Mary Kawas, Miami, Fla; three grandsons, Harry Haynes, Roanoke; Winston Haynes, St. Louis, Mo; James Kawas, Miami, Fla; two granddaughters, Mrs. Ruth Sullivan, Mrs. Patricia Astling, both of Miami, Fla; also 15 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday from the Lotz Roanoke Chapel by the Elder C. E. Turner. Burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
