She leaves to cherish her memory her sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Cindy Stewart of Narrows, Timmy and Jennifer Stewart of Narrows; her daughters and son-in-law, Bertie and Warren Clement of Logan, Ohio, Sharon Stewart of Peterstown, W.Va; her 17 grandchildren; her 26 great-grandchildren; her brother, Charles (Red) Bouldin of Narrows; her sisters, Bertha Martin of Narrows, Elizabeth Mullins of Narrows, and Lorraine Hayes of Blacksburg; and her beloved caregivers with Kanawah Hospice Care: Melissa Morgan, Patchila Carter, Angie Brammer, Tammy Cox, and Marsha Shepard. Burial will follow in the Bradley Cemetery at Lindside, W.Va. on June 17, 2014.³

He lived in Wabash County for the last 30 years and was a retired employe of tne Wabash County Highway Department. Mr. Howard's first wife was Maude Oswalt, and after her death, he married Dana Jackson in 1944. Survivors include two sons, Leo Howard and Wilbur Howard, Marion; one daughter, Mrs. Carl Widmeyer, Elwood; two brothers, Wiley, Converse, and Kenneth, LaFontaine; one sister, Mrs. Liza McGinnis, LaFontaine; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Joseph Hickey, and three stepsons, Burrett Cochran, Robert Cochran, Wabash, and Burrett Cochran, LaFontaine: 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mr. Howard was a member of the LaFontaine Christian Church where funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Robert Rowe officiating.
