The funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday from the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Elbert Lee Naff and Rev. Walt Simmerman. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad, Box 176, Christiansburg, Va. 24073, or the Pilot United Methodist Church, Pilot, Va. 24138. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Thursday and the family will receive friends there from 6 to 8 p.m. on June 19, 1997.2

Betty Anne was predeceased by her husband Richard who died June 18, 2012. He leaves three sons and three daughters, namely Letcher, Edgar, and Leslie Hall and Mrs. Henry Lawrence of Elliston; Mrs. Victor Light of Indian Valley, and Mrs. Wade Muncy of Draper, N C. His wife preceded him several years ago. The remains were brought to Locust Grove, Floyd County, and after the funeral by Rev. Mr. Conner in the Methodist Church there, the body was laid to rest in the Hall Cemetery at his brother, Jessie W Hall's. Mr. Jessie W. Hall is the only member of the family living. Quite a large crowd attended the funeral. on October 18, 1928.1,7
