She loved the Lord and was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Copper Hill, Virginia for 30 years. She had a talent for poetry and loved her family and her animals. Annette was born in Blue Ridge, Virginia to the late Herman A. and Irene J. Tyler on April 24, 1933. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Archie, Arthur, Price, Lenny, and William; two sisters, Katherine and Martha; and step-son, Alton Bartlett. Annette is survived by her husband of 35 years, Morgan; two daughters, Cathy Overacre and Lynette Broughman; step-daughter, Kathi Richardson; three sisters, Jane, Nancy, and Helen; two step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thank you to all the folks at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital and especially to the Palliative Care for her care and to the staff at Friendship South. Graveside Service will be held at Rest Vale Cemetery. on January 6, 2021.2

Manning of Hagerstown, Md; sisters, Carmel Crouch of Salem, Connie Milliron of Rocky Mount, Agnes King of Roanoke and Carol Nichols of Bent Mountain. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Graveside services will be in Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem, Va. The family wishes to express their love and understanding to all Alzheimers patients and their families; also gratitude to the Veterans Hospital staff for his care. on July 14, 2000.6

She is survived by her only child, Janice Bartlett Miller and son-in-law, George (Buck) Miller; her only granddaughter, Michelle Miller Bendel and husband, Timothy Bendel; sisters-in-law, Thelma Bartlett Manning, Janet Cannady King and Nannie King. She also leaves a host of nieces and nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins. Extended family include nieces, Nancy Poff Nichols and husband, Steve Nichols, Sharon Poff; grandnieces, Lori Nichols and April Poff Holt and husband, Henry Holt, and their son, Hayden; special friends, Maebelle DeWeese, Margaret Angle and Mary Moore Mabe. The family wishes to express gratitude to the doctors, CNA's, Tech's, and Covenant Virtual Hospice on 2 North at Fort Sanders Regional Center in Knoxville, Tenn. Their care and kindness made this difficult time bearable. Interment will be on Friday in Rest Vale Cemetery, Floyd County. on February 16, 2010.3
