Beck III, of Richmond, Melissa Ann Beck, of Sherman Oaks, Calif., John J. "J.J." Keaton, Elizabeth K. Gray and Warner Joseph Keaton, all of Roanoke; numerous great-grandchildren, stepchildren, Barbara Cumbo, James Ternent and wife, Loise; stepgrandchildren, Buddy Cumbo and Cindy Cumbo. Services will be at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel 11:30 a.m. Saturday, January 15, 2000. The Rev. Edward E. Shepherd will officiate. Interment with full military honors will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. on January 15, 2000.3

Wade is survived by his son, Danny Wade Conner and wife, Jennifer; two granddaughters, Emma and Allison Conner; his sisters-in-law, Inez Fletcher and Alta Conner; and numerous nieces and nephews. Wade proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II and in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. After leaving the service he began his career as an electrician. He was a 65-year member of the I.B.E.W. and retired from New River Electrical Corporation in 1987. Special thanks to the VVCC Salem and to the doctors, nurses and other staff who have provided excellent care over the last six weeks. Also, to Medi Home Health & Hospice and Home Instead staffs, and our friends and family members for their care and support over the past several months. Your compassion and care are greatly appreciated. Interment will follow with Military Honors at Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton. on June 26, 2018.3
