He is survived by his mother, Helen Yates Link; sister, Anita Kaye Giles; two nieces, Dana Marie Giles and friend, Patrick Nunley, and Jessica Lynn Giles; and many loved aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. Interment will follow at Wilson Cemetery. He was born in Tye River, Nelson County, January 6, 1878, and was the son of the late Richard Benjamin and Ophelia Berkley Taylor. He was a yard conductor for the Chesapeake & Ohio Railway, for which he had worked 47 years, and was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Conductors. He belonged to St. James Methodist Church, Riverville. Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nettie Blanche Taylor, and the following children; Claude Anderson Taylor, Joseph Edwin Taylor, William Berkley Taylor and Miss Dimple Taylor of Allen's Creek, Mrs. W. L. Ganzert and Mrs. A. B. Cornell Jr., of Richmond, Mrs. M. B. Miller of Gladstone and Mrs. George Shefeltt of Washington. The following brothers and sisters also survive; Wilburn Taylor and T. A. Taylor of Gladstone, Mrs. S. T. Nystrum, Mrs. F. L. Doggett, Mrs. B. O. Doggett, Mrs. Thomas Keaton and Mrs. Leonard Hoband, all of Richmond. (Arlistne) Wadford of Columbia, S. C; three stepsons, Ray, Frank, and Joe Richards, all of Princeton; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Lula Allen of Beckley, Mrs. Helen Testino of High Point, N. C., and Mrs. Nancy Anthony of Cleveland Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Ella Gearhart of Buena Vista, Va; 19 grandchildren; 14 stepgrandchildren and 6 stepgreat-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel at Princeton with Rev. Edgar Sigmond and Rev. Ralph Calfee in charge. Burial will be in Calfee Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. today. on January 18, 1975.4
