     Earl Victory Slusser was born on October 15, 1944 at Botetourt Co., Virginia.4 He married Linda Marie Sayers on February 4, 1967 at Wythe Co., Virginia.1,3,5 Earl Victory Slusser died on January 13, 2022 at Virginia at age 77.3 He Earl Victory Slusser, 77, of Fincastle, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022. Earl had worked for Moore's Building Center and Pro Build as a contractor sales representative. Earl was a natural wheeler dealer and loved farming, playing softball with the Moore's softball teams, four-wheel drive racing with his wife, Linda, team bowling, an avid hunter and gun trader, mechanically inclined with building and maintaining cars, and tractors, and very passionate on residential construction. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sayers Slusser; parents, Oakey Schoolfield Slusser and Ethel Crawford Slusser Broughman; sister, Sadie Gusler; and brothers, Bud and Charles Slusser. Survivors include his son, Earnest "Vince" Slusser of Roanoke; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Jeff Boothe of Fincastle; grandson, Sidney Ryan Wilcher; sisters, Rosie Welch, Lillie Fisher, Louise Slusser, and Jean Hartman; brothers, Lomax and Jim Slusser; and many nieces and nephews. Interment will be private. on January 17, 2022.3
